Newbie here to the BB world and just purchased a Curve 8530. I had a Moto Q and finally made the switch. With the Moto Q, I had many apps and I'm looking forward to loading similar ones and finding new ones?

So far, I've only downloaded Google Maps. What are some good other ones? I'm really needing one that shows today's calendar on the home screen.

    Google maps
    Ubertwitter
    BB weather

    Facebook

    Opera mini

For calendar I sync with outlook.

    Yeah, that would probably help.

I've added BBM and Viigo. Both are great. I really need to find an app or a theme to show the calendar on the home page. I'll roam over to the theme section.
