Totally agree on QuickLaunch for productivity. esp when paired with a theme that offers spacebar access. Best purchase I've made. It has a competitor that a lot of people seem to like. Can't remember the name, and I don't think anyone's mentioned it. Actually, might be shortcutme--know nothing about it though.
Was worried when viigo didn't come up for so long, but it's really an amazing rss reader. It does tons of other stuff too, from twitter to podcasts to weather, but aside from rss feeds, most applications that focus on any of those individually are much better. It's also been a while since they've updated. Could prob use a refresh.
There's also this one company that makes great news apps for AP, Reuters, Time and Bloomberg. Very cool apps that distribute their news efficiently. I think they're all done by the same people. It would be nice to see all the news apps as well as viigo give the option to cache on a mem card.
PageOnce Assistant premium is pretty awesome in terms of how it aggregates your accounts for you. Great for checking account activity.
Agree re poynt. Very convenient. With restaurants, I prefer yelp because there are more reviews, but when will they support commenting?
Podtrapper is simple, but manages podcasts very well. It alone has caused me to search for a bluetooth speaker. Slacker was pretty cool too, but since I don't ride the subway much these days, I use Pandora. Had too many issues with slacker.
Yea I think Poynt is the most useful... weather, movies, gas prices, points of interest, etc... all in one app! And, for all it's worth, the UI is amazing.
By far the most USEFUL is quicklaunch.

There are two apps that I recently got for my Tour that are great.
Google Maps- I live in the Wash. D.C. area and the live traffic setting comes in
handy when taveling the Beltway.
Vlingo- I can't believe the lack of this app being mentioned here. I started out
the free version. The voice recognition is far better than i
experienced with the native version. It is THE BEST at launching web
searches. I was so impressed with the free version I paid for Vlingo
Plus, a little pricey but.... to be able to speak texts and emails, what a
time saver.
