That's about it I think. The OS had been working out great for me so far. No real slowdowns (kind of weird when I think about it), great battery life, and so on and so forth.

you must tell me how you got pandora on your torch O_o
Pandora is working, just to go pandora.com on your phone and download there
WHOA!!! You say that so matter of factly, but it hadn't been working, which has been one of the major downers for everybody around here. And now sure enough it does!!!
They don't mention the 9800 yet on the site, but the download is for version 1.1.4 -- it had been 1.1.3.4 -- and it definitely, positively out now that works with the Torch!
I mean, I don't mean to be so pessimistic but the problem with apps in the app world is simple economic principles. Supply and demand, since there's practically no apps in app world compared to the iPhones app store the prices of the apps are comparatively higher, and because there is less competition they are able to charge stupid amount for apps. I mean why does weatherbug elite cost $5 on my blackberry when I can get it for .99 cents on my iPhone.
Come on RIM, fix this.
this is the exact reason why I left apple and my iphone. The app store is so over run with crap apps it's ridiculous...
The only app I have so far is the StormSlider so I can better lock the screen. Very nice though.
TorchFrank - I agree with you on the massive amounts of useless and just plain bad apps for the iPhone. There are some things I loved about that phone but others that were just too annoying for me - the app overload being one.
But that's why I'm back with BB and am loving my Torch! <3 Different options for different people!
This are the apps I have install

I'm with whoever else it was who said something about useless apps for the iPhone. The analogy is that of Windows and Linux. You have 100,000 apps for Windows and 1,000 killer ones for Linux.

Which version of Mini did you manage to install? I keep getting a message that says it's not compatible & the Opera site won't let me even DL it.
