I know it's still relatively new (especially OS6), but what kind of apps have you found to work well with the new 9800?

So far, Google Maps 4.4.0 is awesome, PatternLockLite, and I'm trying BSketch.

    What about you?

    That BatteryEx one looks cool.

And, I used to use DriveSafe.ly, but I have not downloaded it for my Torch.

Anyone come across a 'Swipe-Txt' input style for the 9800? I think that'd be real cool.

Are you using the Storm version of ScoreMobile? The issue I have with using Storm apps is that I need to use the trackpad to click on stuff. Oh well

    nothing, lol

there isnt really anything good out for OS 6 which is a real downer... I mean coming off an iPhone its kinda depressing to have to wait for updates to get Pandora radio and shazaam to install on my phone. Pretty weak RIM...

I mean if the screen resolution was kept down for backwards compatibility of apps it seems kinda useless if you cant load 1/2 the apps in app world on a brand new phone.

I mean, I don't mean to be so pessimistic but the problem with apps in the app world is simple economic principles. Supply and demand, since there's practically no apps in app world compared to the iPhones app store the prices of the apps are comparatively higher, and because there is less competition they are able to charge stupid amount for apps. I mean why does weatherbug elite cost $5 on my blackberry when I can get it for .99 cents on my iPhone.

    Come on RIM, fix this.

Totally happy with it. I know that it will take time to get some of my old apps like ScoreMobile, Shazam and Pandora to be compatible with OS 6.

(for members of Bodog) I was able to download the Bodog mobile casino.

    (App World Free) Spades
(App World Free) Tic Tac Toe
(App World Free) Facebook [although I tend to use the regular browser more with 6.0]

(App World Free Trial - $4.99 purchase) Just downloaded the free trial of scanner radio and it seems pretty cool so far. They have a note saying that after the 7 day trial you can still listen to radios for 5-15 minute periods... I might be able to get a quick fix off of that Or... pay the $4.99
