I really am liking the feed support and also the better picture viewer!
I know that there's no FB chat on it but I don't care, Beejive has that already. Oh, and it's nice to be able to look at people's profiles without always having to go to the mobile site.
One compliant: FB still hasn't implemented the "like" support in the mobile app. I can't "like" something on a news feed nor see anyone else's "likes".
The liking would make it damn near perfect, I think. I don't do chat so that is not a concern of mine though I hear it a lot. I like the notifications too!

Installed it last night and it screwed up my storm somehow. Nothing was working right and it became sluggish!!! Also my outlook calender doesn't sync anymore! I went back to the 1.5 version!
I think it is a very positive step in the right direction. Liked the old app but this one is a lot better in my opinion. I do wish it had the like option and who likes feeds. Facebook chat I think would be overkill, I bet it would be a battery and memory hog with that implemented.
When I tried to update I was told I had the latest version however on checking it showed I had 1.5
I had to remove 1.5 and then was able to download and install 1.6 which has numerous features within the app that no longer require you to go to the mobile site.
I will not download it because there is no facebook chat. The old app has everything I need with out chat

Are you sure you are letting it "think" long enough? I just thought that I was having the same problem but it took a good ten minutes for my 8900 to boot up.
Pretty much I like it. The only thing I am missing from 1.5 is when you get a notification, you have to view it via the email. Clicking on the program doesn't take you to what was updated. Or maybe I am missing something
