    Sorry bud, but i sent my 9900 in for exchange because i was sick of it constantly getting the white screen of death (jvm error) or just cycling reboots. I'm rocking an 8330 for now lol, cant macro for OS7 for a bit you'd have to "Launch Options" and go at it through there though for both of your requests.

    It is sad to hear this about your 9900 and the fact that you are without NFC for a while.
    And it is also sad to see that your great help (for macros and NFCShortcuts) is missing on CB thread.
    Hopefully you get a brand new, problemfree 9900 soon.

    Regarding ShortcutMe beta versions: I will also provide a beta version for 8330 every time a new beta version is out until you get your 9900.

    oh man, that'd be awesome <3 I'm running OS5 on it, so hopefully that supports most if not all the non-touch screen macros

    Use NavMoveDownx where x is the number you wish to move the cursor down (I cannot remember where "security" is) then use NavClick to select it. Then various combos of NavMoveDown or NavMoveUp and NavClick etc

    EscKey;
    *Keys;

    probably.. :s might be

    *Keyy;

    it depends, if the menu says "save, discard, cancel" then you'd use *Keys but if it says "yes, no" then use *Keyy or you can use more NavMoves and NavClick

    For security purposes, let's encrypt your password in SCM so it's not just stored in plain text.
    in the shortcut editing page, click the "Macro Editor" button,

    now instead of using *Key<password>

    replace it with

    PasswordKey<password>

    then hit your MenuKey and choose "Encrypt Passwords" exit and save changes. then give it a shot

    well, you can use MenuItemFromTopx where x is the number of items down from the top you wish the cursor to goto. so let's say 5 mins is at the top of the dropdown menu, you'd use MenuItemFromTop1, and if 1 hour is 5th in the list, you can use MenuItemFromTop5

    Got it and modified it... Excellent... is there a list of syntax we can use in SCM...and I'm sure the list grows as the app gets upgraded? Can we get it from Vijik?

    most is available in the app, check the "Macro Editor" section, when you select an item from the drop down menu, the info for it is displayed.

    otherwise you can read (please do not post, i believe this is an INFO thread only, not meant for support/questions. because then it gets too big and then the updates from vijik get all buried and never seen)

    You can use the following macro shortcut instead of the default Wifi or Bluetooth Toggle function:

    Create a shortcut like this:
    AppName: Macro
    Shortcut Key: TBT. /* or anything else you want*/
    Macros:
    LaunchAndWait Manage Connections;
    NavMoveDown 3; /*Use the correct number of movement here for item you want to toggle*/
    NavClick;
    Delay 200;
    EscKey;

    In the mean time I will modify the functions to take Wifi Hot Spot into account.

    Is wifi hot spot working? (Very interesting).

    That would be great thanks, I will have a go tomorrow at creating
    One myself but it doesn't look easy.

    No orange uk don't appear to allow hotspot yet although I have seen
    Other uk networks with it working.

    It is not difficult to add macros. Just copy the macros in my post and just find out from Manage Connections page how many times should the cursor move down so that your macro does the same thing.
    Post here if you have any problem. A lot of macro fans check this and other macro threads.

    If hotspot is working then PlayBook gets connected to internet everywhere you have cellular coverage.
    No need to pay for 2 data plans as iphone/iPad users do.
