That sounds more like GPS, which isnt what I am looking for.
Just maps, with basic directions (walking, public transport, etc.)
You do not have to use any of the GPS-enabled applications as a GPS device. They can all be used to provide basic 2D map services with routing and direction information, including pedestrian mode support.
