As far as I know, no GPS service will work with the 8330 from Verizon. I've heard many things as towards why it won't work. I've seen more threads stating that the 8330 from Verizon is lacking a GPS module of some sort.

Wouldn't it work if he reloaded the OS & deleted the vendor.xml file?
Anyhow, I'm using AmazeGPS. What's the difference between it & Nav4All?

I wouldn't know I'm on Sprint with unlimited Sprint Navigation, it's got awesome quick turn by turn voice instructions in 2d and 3d.

If I'm not mistaken you can buy the verizon one for a monthly fee yet its not free and I think its like 10 bucks a month

VZ Navigator is okay, but it's slower than it was on my old VX9400, and it doesn't remember addresses (though this may be a settings issue).

bessemercityburgess mentioned Verizon charging a monthly fee to use it, but it's actually included in the BB data package thing- at least, I've never been charged for it.

the verizon 8330 will only have gps active for bb maps unless your running os5.0 then nothing works. if you want good gps maps then you can always buy a gps puck like i did. its cheap enough and its more reliable than the internal gps.
