what apps were you running when the 328 BSOD happened?
Just got a new or perhaps refurbished storm today. Slick as snot on butter -- really runs great and after a year I can finally say the nightmare seems over. Thing is, it took .323 and .328 putting a BSOD HURT on my last storm to get me here and I want to do what I can to avoid that experience again.
I'm wondering what chance some of the 3rd party apps or their permission settings may be the culprit? Apps like berrybuzz and berrypopup explicitly caution that they are not optimized for anything but a 4.7 series OS. Everyone knows Pandora needs fixing.
If I'm running a bunch of apps like that, might that create a sort of toxic overload for the OS, resulting in the BSOD? I'm a little wary of putting anything on this device right now... I understand the BSOD remains somewhat of a mystery with possible hardware related causes
If you got the BSOD, what apps did you have installed at the time? What permission settings did you have? How long had you been running them? Anybody else holding off on installing apps for this reason?
