I just purchased a 9700 Bold from T-mobile. What apps are must haves for the device. I already have all of the social networking apps.

    BeBuzz is useful!

BerryBuzz extends your default Blackberry alert system. BerryBuzz allows you to customize the LED color and create repeating audible reminders for many alert types, and specific contacts.

It will repeat alerts until acknowledged so you will never miss an alert again. Backup/Restore feature now available!

MaraTick is a great free list app!

Same old question over and over again... and again the same answers:

    BerryBuzz
    GoogleSync
    GoogleMaps
    UberTwitter
    Facebook
    BerryWeather

Those are the ones I use almost daily.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I downloaded Weatherbug and it didn't work for me. Going to download the other suggestions tomorrow. Already have Socialscope, Twitter for BB, Facebook, Foursquare, Pandora.

BerryWeather is actually quite awesome... it also appears to be friendlier on battery life than Weatherbug...

UberTwitter I like better than the BB Twitter 'official' app...

If you like to keep track of stocks and such, Bloomberg is great

For keeping track of battery and memory drain... MeterBerry is a must

I've had my Bold for less than a week but I don't think I'd be able to get by without quicklaunch. Berrybuzz is quite useful too if you're like me with a bunch of different applications sending you notifications.

Quicklaunch allows you to create short cuts to apps and menu items without pressing the bb menu bottom. That's the first app I purchased and I haven't used my menu button since.

The only problem with BerryWeather is that it doesn't have tornado warnings in the alerts. The 15+ coastal warnings do me no good living in tornado alley in the midwest.

It is a great app in that it allows to have your calendar and contacts in sync in a 2-way fashion, meaning what you change in one place is changed in the other. It works great with your Google Calendars and Contacts!
