    I need a simple app that launches a web shortcut when you click on it.

    I would like to add it as a free item in the app store.

    Is there something out like this already?

    yes, people have made launcher apps before. i would try to find someone thats made one and ask them how they did it or if they could make you one. someone made the Crackberry launcher app, ask them.
