I got a message from the weatherbug app that an update was available for my bold.

As soon as I updated to the version 1.0.0.325 I get this error:

    "Error starting wb_monsoon:
    Class
    'net.rim.device.api.ui.TouchEvent' not found."

I'm running v4.6.0.167 (Platform 4.0.0.157). I'd rather not update the OS if I don't have to - especially not just for weatherbug.

Is anyone else seeing this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Any response/help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It seems that the WB app you updated to is for the storm and not the bold. I would uninstall and then reinstall the app from the following OTA link.

Are you sure you got the Bold version and not the Storm version? Any *.TouchEvent class certainly seems more like it would be in the Storm's libraries than the Bolds.

Thanks for the responses. I got a message from the weatherbug app itself and it downloaded the update so it was responsible for which it downloaded.

    The link:
    http://blackberry.weatherbug.com/46/46.jad

Doesn't appear to be valid, but I downloaded a version from blackberry.weatherbug.com otherwise.

IT downloaded "weatherbug direct" which seems a bit different than what I had before... but oh well.

Thanks again for all the replies!

Here is the correct OTA link. For some reason they decide to change it without notification.
