for me personally, i do want something that is accurate and up-to-the-minute. why, you ask? simple: i live in arizona, where its about a million degrees farenheit year round, and we who live here like to sit around and complain about how hot it is all the time. i just want to be able to throw accurate complaints out there.
UMMM i downloaded weatherbug and i prefer weathereye better!! I deleted weather bug through applications but it's still there!! It still links to the net and the icons still update...how do i get rid of it!? I looked through my service books too and didnt see anything
None of the apps mentioned here seem to persist the data on the home screen. As soon as the app is closed, the next time its opened it has to be connected to download fresh data. On my old phone (not blackberry) I had a home screen that always displayed the last downloaded weather forecast, and it automatically tried to update it every 15 minutes. Any such app on the blackberry (I have a Bold)?
ryan, I use WeatherEye (find it in App World). It updates every 30 minutes and you don't have to be opened to refresh new data (as it's always connected).
I havent been able to get the home screen icon. I have tried =( Like many have said you have to roll over the icon to get the weather. I would like to look at my home screen and get the info
I can't decide between BeWeather and WeatherBug Elite. I don't mind paying for it, I just want to be able to just look at my phone/homescreen and see what the weather is.
Anyone using either of these? Could you tell me what you think of them?

I use Weatherbug. Has it's own icon you move that has temperature and current conditions, and it's a free download with no associated monthly costs either. I had Weather Channel before, but I love having the temp/conditions on my homescreen. You can just click the icon to autolog to the site for a full forecast, too.
Its not made to work on the 8330 says the app store and look at what is required. No I am useing the weather channel for now but would love to have the features that weather bug has.
