I'm currently using BeWeather and the default precision theme with the today screen active. I'm wondering if there is a free weather app out there that integrates with the default precision today homescreen....

Only the paid version of BerryWeather 2.0 will integrate with the default Precision Zen home screen. If you look in the themes forum, there are plenty of Precision today like themes for the 9700 with 'weather slots' which will integrate with any weather app.
