why is this so difficult? I upgraded from an 8525 to the Bold. On the 8525, the numbers I wanted to voice dial I selected and created a voice tag. 99.9% of the time, the voice dial had no problem dialing the correct number. I had different voice tags for the different numbers on the same contact.

Not so on the Bold. VAD is simple, but doesn't work very well. In fact it barely works. So I followed the forum advice and downloaded Vlingo. Neat, but not as useful again. Have to push the button on the phone rather than the bluetooth headset to start the dialing. if it is in the holster while driving this does me no good. Is there any program that will allow me to create voice tags for each of the multiple numbers per contact that will work with VAD?

I will probably have to create new contacts with simple names so that VAD will dial, cat = wife's cell, dog = home phone etc.

I do like the fact that you can just say the numbers and have it dial. 8525 couldn't do that.
