Ok dumb question so bear with me. I have never used visual v mail and had my storm for months now. I loaded it but is says I will have tp agree on the charges assessed. This feature is not free with package when I got the phone? I don't even know how it works but people seem to love it. Do I have to pay extra to use it?

Actually stores the messages on your phone, so you can listen to them anytime, even if your radio is off or you have no service. Listen to messages in any order you'd like, or dump those you just don't need to listen to.
I have to agree that it's worth the $3/month. I used to get incredibly frustrated with the menu system of the regular voice mail system. I keep some old messages around and VVM lets me just listen to the new messages without having to deal with the old messages every couple weeks.
