Oh my God. I am in my 6th hour of just trying to get my voice mail to work. Verizon is pathetic. It was working fine, then suddenly stopped. I can see missed calls but no messages at all. I have numerous voice mails that not only do not show up at all, but also not in the Visual Voice app.
They have had me do everything... uninstall, reinstall, battery, upgrade software, send service books, delete service books, stand on one foot, repeat after me, go to the store, go back home and call in, battery pull again, ...
I just noticed today that I may have a problem with Visual Voice Mail. I missed a call from a co-worker and thought it was strange that she did not leave a message (no indication of a new voice mail). A while later, it dawned on me that I had better make extra sure. I went into my voice mail manually and was shocked that there was indeed a voice mail from her - but again, no indication via VVM.
Hopefully this is just a fluke. Anyone else find VVM to have issues?
I think that this is something you should always consider - go through the phone app and press and hold the number "1" (also quick calls your VM) If you have a message it will still be there !!!
I have same issue on occasion over past couple of days.... just upgraded OS hopefully this will not continue
The only issue I have experienced so far is random reboots. I only had the program installed for an hour and it rebooted twice within that time. I have not seen it happen again but I am hoping that it is no longer an issue. If so, VVM is going bye-bye.
I just tested my VVM. It worked but I did get a message saying I wasn't logged in. I had to re-enter my VM password and it worked fine from that point.
I called VZW wireless last week and reported that I was not getting VM's for hours after they were left. In short it began working properly late Friday nite and I have been getting VM's instantly. I have received 2 calls within the last hour from VZW asking if everything is ok (following up on trouble ticket). The last guy said they worked on the problem over the weekend and that it should be cleared up by now.
Had a similar issue last week. Somehow I got logged out and just couldn't log back in. Spent hours on the phone with Verizon and they couldn't figure it out. I wiped my BB when the new OS came out. Reinstalled everything and now it works great. A pain, but it works.
When it works, I love it, however, it doesn't work more often than it does.
Between the no volume, or the messages not showing, I hope they get it fixed soon, or
it will be going into my tried it but it was junk, app bin...
