I have spent over an hour searching the forums and have tried a few things already but still no luck. I also haven't seen this particular issue come up so if ANYONE can help... PLEASE!

I just signed up for visual voice mail. At first I didn't have the icon so I tried to download through application center. The very first time it seemed to download correctly but I did not hit run (fingers moving faster than the brain can process what I was reading) and since then I've been unsuccessful at getting that far again.

    Things I have tried:

    deleting VVM, battery pull, reinstall.

going to website for download through browser

updated handheld software yesterday which wiped everything and ended up putting the icon on my home page (which was missing all this time) but...

this is what happens when I do ANY of those things:

it takes me to the terms and conditions screen and I select I AGREE

then it goes either to 1. a page full of code that just sits there and does nothing else.... or 2. I get an error message (which I haven't been able to recreate so I can write it here) which basically says I have encountered an invalid page.

If I go to applications under options... VVM isn't even listed. And it is no longer showing in my application center??

I have no clue what's happening.

    anyone?

    a couple things:

    What OS are you running?

Check to see that the icon is not hidden
    BlackBerry button --> show all

Is your Browser set to BlackBerry or Internet Explorer - should be Blackberry
Browser --> BlackBerry Button --> Options --> Browser Configuration --> Browser Identification --> BlackBerry

Try resending your Service Books - The Visual Voice Mail Icon should get pushed to your phone.
Log in to your BIS site http://https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw&locale=en , click on help, then click Send Service Books

Hope one of these things helps

I just talked to Verizon tech support and was told that this is a known issue with Visual Voice Mail and they do not know when it should be fixed.

For some reason, they also took Visual Voice Mail off my account when I went to the Storm2 and they have to had it back on.

Why pay five bucks a month when Google Voice is free, transcribes your voice messages, lets you send and receive text messages from your computer, and a lot of other additional features?

I've had the same problem. Also does the same thing when I try to check out VCast videos.

And, annoyingly, that also hijacks my browser to a degree. I can't go back to home page and lose the "Go To" soft button until doing a battery pull.

In the process of figuring this out, I changed my start page from the default. Can someone tell me what the original starting address is for VZW's Storm 2? It had a handy local weather readout & other stuff, and I lost it.

This is getting really annoying, Its been like this a couple days, and i didn't know i had 10 voice mails on their server, because i cant receive the notifications. Trying to sell a car, and not being alerted to voice mails is causing me some serious frustration. Hopefully they fix this soon, as i have to periodically call my VM to see if there is anything in there
