    When picking the visual voice mail icon I sometimes get the message, "visual voice mail account not active. Contact support.". I called support and say account looks fine. Any ideas?

    Stupid question, but have you enabled Visual Voice Mail with your carrier?

    You have activate the Visual Voicemail service with your carrier.
