ok...im loving my storm 2 ive had 8703e, World Edition, curves,tours but this is by far the better.....only issue i have is i have a couple apps that when being used (whip, shotgun,and lightsaber) it vibrates and plays sounds...after awhile this gets annoying...how do i disable this or can it be?

Unfortunately, that is the sound vibrate makes on the S2 and it can't be altered. I'm hoping for a strong but silent or near silent vibrate on the S3.

Uhhh.... What's the problem? Please explain more. What would those apps you mentioned do if they didn't vibrate and play sounds when used? Isn't that the point of those apps?

I love the phone but it is by far the worst vibrate function ive ever experienced. You are better off with sounds. I find myself actually listening for the phone to vibrate rather than feel for it.

I just switched from a Storm 1 to a Storm 2. The vibrate is so loud that people sitting 2 seats away in meetings can hear it even though it is in the case and on the opposite side of me from the people hearing it. It is just like a ringtone called "Really Loud Buzz". Is there a way to make vibrate quieter?

If your in a meeting aren't you supposed to be in the meeting. Not playing around. Put the phone on silent and show some courtesy.

I am impressed by your ability to ignore the real issue and insert your own philosophical viewpoint. Sounds like your viewpoint is like that of Adam Savage on Mythbusters who said on one show "I reject your reality and substitute it with my own".

Not that it is any of your business, but my parents are in their 90's and my father-in-law who is 93 lives with me. I don't have the option of putting my phone on silent. I need to know immediately if they have a problem.

Perhaps some "courtesy" on your part may be in order.
