I am trying download Verizon's Remote DVR Blackberry App to my 9780. Unfortunately, Verizon only releases their mobile app to users with Verizon cell service & associated Blackberry models. The app is listed on Blackberry's App World, but when I log into my App world account, it tells me my device is not supported...

Does anyone know how i can get this app on my phone? I think its' ridiculous that I pay Verizon for their Cable services, but they can't provide me with a mobile app to access my DVR at home because I don't have cell phone service through them. I saw in a previous forum link from 2009, that there was a .jad URL that was posted that people could download from, but it's no longer valid and I would need a link for OS 6.0...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that if the app runs on the 9700, it should run on the 9780, which is the same phone just with upgraded memory & camera. It was my assumption that most of the 3rd parties hosting apps on App World just haven't updated their page information to include the 9780 which was just released a few months ago.

I have the Dish Network DVR app, and it ran flawless on my OS5 9700. I now have a 9780 and it doesn't run as flawless on it. The functions are working, but the scrolling is an issue. That is OS6 related. So that might be why your app won't let get installed on the 9780.

I have the Bold 9700. I can scroll through the programming grid, scroll through my DVR recordings, and control playing them on my TV, all from my device; but I CANNOT view them on my device. I get a msg saying check my internet connection. Anybody got any answers for this?
