The VCast App Store is now live on my Storm 2 via App Center. Verizon also updated the list a bit.

It installed fine. But it won't register it on my account for some reason. Anyone else install it and use it? I'm on the Nationwide 450 plan that includes BES provisioning, so the tech guy thinks it's due to that.. But it doesn't make sense as I'm not connected via BES.

of course.. app center says 1.0.1, but its 1.0.5 downloading.....

installed

"Unable to verify your account info. Call customer service"

im on the 450 plan / BiS.

maybe its just not up yet? (why push it to the phones then?)

EDIT2: checked on their website and there is nothing about it.. im thinking this might be an "oops"

Yeah me too. I'm happy it isn't just me getting the error. The Tech support guy wanted to change my plan to try to get it to work lol. I said no. I'm happy I did!

Not pushed to me either... I went into VZW's Application Center app, refreshed, and it was listed... downloaded it from there

Got it. Can't verify it either. Perhaps ill give customer service a call tomm and see what they don't tell me.

Here is the scoop.

Apparently this launched in FEB... v 1.01 - they pushed 1.05 up recently. the new version doesnt work! lol but from what people say - there wasnt much there right now. So, we arent missing anything at the moment. I am looking forward to the ease of a purchase that comes right on my bill.

Well they just pulled it from app center within the past 5 minutes. I had refreshed app center 10 min ago and it was there. Just refreshed again and its gone.

This was pissing me off too, i just deleted and had be doing that and it wouldnt get rid of it, and kept reinstalling i just now deleted it again refreshed the center, and it is now gone from there as well. I hope this app store gets running soon, verizon has been pissing me off because i called them three times about this and you think they should know what the problem was. Let me know if someone gets this to work anytime soon

I installed it, launched it, and have been browsing the apps...
