Hey everyone. I have seen a lot of talk about what Facebook updates and doesn't update and what not, but I haven't found a concrete answer to this question...
Is there a way to get Facebook to update the contacts in my contacts list on my Storm?
I uderstand it won't/can't with the people that don't have them listed. But for instance, I just went into my friends list on Facebook, selected to "Connect to Blackberry Contact" then "New Contact" and all it did was add there picture and name. Why not the phone number they have listed?
Also, i am running the latest Facebook App, 1.7.0.18.
I'm running the same version as you. I think your problem is, your contacts aren't sharing their numbers. Because when I went through the steps you described, for my contacts who do share numbers, it popped up a requester asking if I wanted to get their number next time I connected. For those that didn't share their numbers, it didn't pop this up.
