If I want to search my BB for any entries about a particular person or thing (for example, searching the calendar and emails for anything about a client), I have to manually check each option for BB to search or hit the menu button and select all.

Is there a way to change the settings so it automatically searches all options? I've looked - am I just missing it? Thanks.

You can just hit menu and "select all" option. Or hit "S" twice and it gets you to it. It doesn't save the search though when you close it.

Thanks for the reply. I was scratching my head, thinking I was missing a setting or something to save my search preferences. Nerts. Oh well.
