    So I did my first update tonight through blackberry desktop manager and now when I try to use any apps I get errors referencing wireless connection. "You are not connnected to the wireless network" "Not currently in an area that can handle network connections" But I'm exactly where I was using these apps before the update.

    I have 8330 on Verizon and did the *228 activation after update and also the roaming update. Both concluded with a 'successfully updated' message. Any helpout there is greatly appreciated!!! Thx!


    *** Evidently, I fixed it with a battery pull... (Husband just walked in & very calmly asked if I'd tried that yet-too worked-up to think of that myself, I guess) Thanks anyhow!

    That's usually the case. Don't know why that one more reboot realigns everything better than the boot before it, but a battery pull frequently cures a lot of ills.
