    I deleted the Facebook application but the icon is still there. I know I can hide it. is there a way to delete it from a Curve 8330?

    all you can do is hide it . It is set as a default service book. click menu and hide it

    Options/advanced options/service book/facebook/delete

    Worked on my 9000 without affecting anything else.

    Sure, delete the service book, but next time the carrier pushes them, or you have email issues and resend your books, it will just appear..

    If its not installed its not taking up space.. hide it.
