I recently upgraded my 9700 to 5.0.0.979 and since then I can't tether.

When I bring up blackberry manager, go under tools, mobile internet setting, I can't add a profile. It is greyed out. Is this a setting a problem with Windows 7 or blackberry desktop or finally my 9700 with .979 firmware?

I dont really know what to tell you i suggest you download and install the Windows XP Mode on windows 7, then install blackberry desktop manager 6 within it, then sync your blackberry with that instead. i dont use win7 at all and i wont want to encounter sync problems either.
