    Twitter itself is suffering from DDoS attacks today. It's Twitter wide, not just UT.

    [edit]It seems you can access twitter from it's website now, however their API for other clients to access it doesn't seem too stable atm.

    Twitter is being attacked by a hacker last I heard. A while ago.

    I can't update either via web text or ubertwatter

    ubertwitter is just an app that you use to post to twitter. it can't be "down". Twitter, on the other hand, is getting DDoSed.
