Actually I changed the configuration setting from auto to direct tcp and it works fine with 5.0.0.93 now.

Using this on my 8900 running the new 5.0 OS. So far so good far more stable than the previous release running on .213. Only thing I've found is that I'll get a message notification via the blinking light long before the UT icon on my BB updates. Minor annoyance, but I think it's an OS thing (same thing happens with BBM)

A few questions...
Does anyone know if this beta is a time trial? I know they plan on having both free and paid versions. Just want to be sure the new version isn't gonna be too buggy and trap me into a buggy trial or expire and I'll have to pay for later if its not fixed.

I have this ability (or at least the option) on my storm. I just click the BB button and there is a "send to Ubertwitter" option.

hmm maybe because i have socialscope installed too its taking that menu slot/conflicting. ill try removing socialscope

does anyone else have this working? i uninstalled socialscope thinking it was conflicting and reinstalled ubertwitter but still no option like this in the pic gallery at least on my Bold
