I just registered on twitter and wanted to know if anyone had recs for a solid (and free) twitter app for BB? Also(and somewhat unrelated to BB)-is there a way to search for people on twitter based on your facebook friends? Thanks!

i used twitterberry until i read this post, then i downloaded & tried out ubertwitter. i like it better, it seems to offer more features.

i would say go with ubertwitter over twitterberry.

Yes for those who are using Twitterberry and never tried Uber, try it. Its well worth it and much better than TB. I posted the OTA download link on post #3 of this thread. I use Uber as a back up to SocialScope.

I am treying to sign up for twitter but it is asking for me to write down the 2 capcha words and I don't see them I have also tried to listen to them but I can't do that. Have anyone signrd up for twitter on the phone instead of the pc?

I read UberTwitter doesn't support BIS-B?

I don't have separate data plan so I'm stuck with TwitterBerry. It's okay, but it takes forever to load tweets.

Latest UberTwitter does support BIS..otherwise you have to set the APN.

Yet if I access the link from my BB I do not get those options. I have only had my BB for 3 days. How do I get Uber Twitter on it without nuking my shiny new Blackberry?

From my laptop I have downloaded the correct version. What do I do with it now?
