Okay, so I recently updated my Twitter app to version 3.0 on my Torch 9810 and now there is constantly a 'tweeting' icon in my app switcher, even when Twitter isn't running and I am not logged in.
I know this is a minor issue but it is quite annoying. Also I am aware that it wastes some battery.
So far I have tried:
uninstalling & reinstalling Twitter
rebooting my device (battery pull & alt+shift+del)
If anyone knows why this happens, how to stop it or any more suggestions, please reply.
If you deleted the app and rebooted I wouldn't think it would be possible for the icon to remain...
You could unlock your escreen to see if twitter is running (instructions in my sig) but that's a pretty advanced tweak. Or you could try an app like http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst.../9661/?lang=en
Sorry about that icon being seen in the switcher. The icon is from the startup work that is done and isn't affecting anything (other than being there).
