    I have a Bold 9650 on Sprint running OS 5.0.0.699 and according the the App World requirements should be able to install "The Weather Channel" app. It does not show up in the App World from my phone and when I send the link from the App World site from my PC it takes me to the place to download but there is a message that this program is not supported by my device.

    Weird.

    Ive email support several times with no responce.

    Any suggestions???

    Check out Sprint TV it has the weather channel. See if it works for you.

    Wait it's in App world but then it's doesn't show up?

    Or you getting that from the web?

    It will not show up in my app world on phone.

    I got to app world on the net from my pc and send the link to phone.

    When I open link it opens up app world and takes me to the page where TWC app is but download is not an option only reviews, recommend, and screenshots.

    It has a message that says the program is not compatable with my device.

    How can I get a screen shot so I can post it so you can see?

    Same thing happens for the game Ka Glom

    Weird cause when I had the Tour 9630 I was able to get both those apps

    I get the same thing... Give it time...

    * Their are reported issues with App world right now, some people are reporting things like this in other threads.

    My OS is higher than 4.2 and Sprint is on the list so what gives.

    I realize that eventually this could be resolved but Ive had the phone for almost a month, Im getting ansy.

    Was wondering if there was something I could do to the phone to force a download.

    Thanks but I figured it out myself.

    You have to go to m.weather.com/bbapp through the phones browser to force the download.

    You just have to go around App World and download it directly.

    Works fine.
