- Great idea! I added that menu command to build 107 TuneIn Radio for Blackberry beta download which also fixes couple of exotic playback failures.12-20-10 02:26 PMLike 0

- Yeah it is a bug in 107 -- I thought I'd optimize loading of playlists but omitted redirects handling so certain podcasts return 302 "error" with 107. Fixing that now. Thanks a lot for reporting this bug right away!12-20-10 02:36 PMLike 0
- Wonderful app - I love it and listen every day. As an ex-Pat though I'd love to be able to listen to programs like Test Match Special, which BBC Five Live blocks overseas listeners from listening to. Is there (a) any app which gets around this block or (b) is there any possibility of a TuneIn "Pro" which allows listeners everywhere to hear BBC five live?12-20-10 07:03 PMLike 0

- Alex, really enjoying the Copy Song Info, but does it seem backwards to you to grab the info in reverse of what's displayed. Usually you'd get Song - Artist, but your code seems to be grabbing Artist - Song. Somehow that seems in reverse to me... thoughts?

- @Alex : is the radiotimes.com website correctly picking up the BB by its model number or OS?
9700/OS6 seems to be always directed to the "/1.5b109/5.0/TuneIn.jad" directory; i.e. touch screen version. Which explains why the screen scrolls up before I can get to the "pause/play" button.
Edit : I know the "enter" key "pauses/plays" on the radio station screen (else where it selects whatever is highlighted).Last edited by PDM; 12-21-10 at 08:20 AM.

and will fix in 1.6.
12-21-10 03:33 PMLike 0 - Thanks for reversing the song info order in the copy function. You are truly a great developer to cater to our suggestions so openly. If only RIM was so quick to listen... Lol. We'd be running less buggy OSs right now. Ha!

Here are the version 1.5 release notes:
- Option to play via wired or bluetooth headset
- Option to add custom stream URL to presets
- Added Copy Song Info option to Now playing screen menu
- Added Choose stream option to Now playing screen menu
- Use 10% increments when adjusting the volume
- Fixed volume popup conflicts with Media Player volume popup
- Fixed incorrect default APN settings for some mobile providers
- Fixed incorrect handling of some streams / playlists
- Improved reliabilityhyperdub and coffee-turtle like this.12-22-10 02:15 AMLike 2 - Alex, I redid my blackberry and installed a hybrid and now whenever I install tunein, it doesn't launch when I open it via icon or convenience key. The way I had to remedy this was to go to edit permissions and set EVERYTHING for tunein to Allow. It now works as before...this started with build 108 (I'm on 109 now). What do you think? Is there anything wrong or privacy issues with me having all those permissions set to Allow? Let me know...It didn't used to do this before I redid my bb and installed the hybrid. Hope I didn't mess up the install (I've done it plenty of times, so I doubt it)
Thanks friend, amazing app as always

It was useless option as the volume control on BB is always in values of 10.12-22-10 10:31 PMLike 0
- Alex, in relation to the menu choices, do you think it would make the app cleaner if you capitalized the first letter in each word like the OEM menus are? For example:
Send to a friend - Send to a Friend
Copy song info - Copy Song Info
Choose stream - Choose Stream
Report a problem - Report a Problem
etc.
Basically, following the following grammar rules for titles... What Words Do I Capitalize in a Title?alex.gavrilov likes this.12-22-10 10:40 PMLike 1 - 5% actually didn't do anything... if you looked close enough, it would only increment once you hit differences of 10% between volume levels. 5/15/25/35, etc. the 0/10/20/30 levels were the same as the levels right before them. - Alex, whenever I click check updates in the app settings, it tells me I have the latest. Even when I don't. Am still at 1.4, and checked this page by chance before noticing 1.5 is rolled out. I have to then pass the message to all my friends I had recommended this app to to update. I could still be at 1.2 if it wasn't for me checking this page.
Better yet, since most people don't check their setting page for updates, why not show a message to prompt users that an update is available.
Cheers, and thanks for your hard work!12-23-10 05:18 PMLike 0
