I have been waiting for this for YEARS! Actually ever since I got my first 8320. And following their iPhone development Trillian for BlackBerry has an awesome team working on this. So jazzed. Can't wait for Kevin to send me an invite. Lol

if they follow the pricing of the iPhone app it should be $5 for updates within incrimental versions. So 1.0 will get you 1.1, 1.2, etc. But 2.0 would be another $5.

If they use push data this will be huge...

If they don't, meh... I can't afford the battery drain of staying signed on to the server 24/7.

Their forum thread says it will have email push. Hopefully this means something like Beejive uses; where the app stays running, but it doesn't use any data. It just sits there quietly and waits for notification emails to come in, then converts them to IMs so its seamless. Unlike IM+ where it just fills your inbox with useless emails for every IM.

    I'd estimate a 300% multiplication for a Blackberry port

Nah. I don't think Kevin and Scott would do that. Besides the desktop version is 25 for a year and that's their main baby.

But the free one for desktop is just a lite. Gotta pay for the pro. Maybe they'll do it the same way.
