Me as well, works great and no, it does NOT "drain the battery." It is only using battery power when it's updating. So, depending on the frequency rate you've chosen (I have 1 hour updates), and the number of areas you're tracking (I have five cities, four in the US and one in the UK), it's not big issue. I see very little impact on battery, according to my MeterBerry log.

had berryweather on every device ive had since it came out. best weather app. enough said

I purchased berryweather a couple months ago and still can't get my radar to work. Anyone have any suggestions. I have a 9650 on Sprint.

Can you post screenshot of your settings?

I do alot of boating with in cell range and was wondering if it
    is worth it?

I have some links to radar and weather I usually use..but wasn't sure if I should get this...

    Does it eat up battery?

If you don't have it anymore what links or app did you go to?

    Appreciate the advice.

    Thx
Sorry if this is a repeat, didn't read thru all the pages here. Just happened to be looking at weather apps a few minutes ago. I'm not familiar with this one but when you said boating I thought I'd suggest taking a look. (I've never used it.) It gives you a lot of info, including wind speed every hour in chart form. (mph, not knots if it matters to you). It's 50% off right now in CB Store.

I used berryweather, loved it. It is the one app I miss the most when I went to the droid x. I would pay another $10 if the developer made a android version.

It is a great app, you wont be dissappointed.

8330 is a CDMA curve. If you had Verizon of course the GPS wouldn't have worked. Verizon only opened up GPS to BBMaps. (I am on wap and can't see your carrier.)

I love BerryWeather. I even have it update every 15 minutes.

OK, you DO realize she said in her post that she was on WAP....using her berry to post and could not see your info?
That means she could not see that you were on Sprint.
So please do not have an attitude.

If you are responding to anyone on WAP, you cannot see the information that people have like model and carrier and such....so please be kind and considerate.

    Thank you.

BerryWeather is awesome, bets weather app there is. Worth $10? I don't really think it is, but it goes on sale every month or two, and it's definitely worth $5.

Berryweather is very light on the battery. It doesn't even run in the background
If you have it updating then it is running in the background. Only the GUI shuts down when closed.

But battery use is good as said.

I tried them all and this one blows the others away!
