Not worth $4 when you can just dial *67 and block a number, for incoming calls there are options as well for less..........
yes there is.....I for one need one thanks
I would be interested also.
If it works, i'd be ineterested. You have to pay each time you do *67
By calling it a "call blocker" I assume the OP is talking about INCOMING calls (could be wrong, though).
*67 hides your number, it doesn't block the call.
Sorry for being vague. I mean a call blocker that blocks incoming calls.

I dunno, there might be.. but you should make it able to send it straight to he voicemail.
You can do that with YouMail. Its a great app.
It would be awesome if you could block just a list of numbers that you don't want calling you.
You can do that through your service provider

Depends on your carrier/plan.
I would love a call blocking app. I would block ALL 800 numbers. Telemarketers call me all the time.
Verizon does not offer call blocking. I tried already. It was about a year ago so I don't know if they can now. but I doubt it.
Cell phones can be added to the do not call list, I believe.
Verizon will do it on a number by number basis if you provide a reason.
Not very efficient, IMHO.
YouMail works well for this, but an app might be an easier to manage solution.
I don't give my number to anyone I don't want to vall me, so....(LOL)
What features would you like to see in this application?

sorry to tell you but they have an app like this already its called Cerberus Call Filter
well it's competition. If his app is better and cheaper. why not?
I would love this. Seriously love if you could make something like this.
Something that runs small and in the background...
Something that doesn't even ring once, just gets blocked or sent to VM or whatever you decide the handoff method should be...
The ability to interface with the call log so numbers can be easily added to the "black list" from there...
Maybe even interface with the address book/contact list. I do have people in there, while I have their phone number I would really rather them not call me...
Like an ***** - I bought and downloaded that iCall/Blacklist dealio, which does not work on the 9500 series yet. I was able to play around with the interface a little bit and it is a little difficult to use. There are a myriad of options, i.e. accept calls from only people in address book, accept calls from only people not in address book, accept calls from people on white list (white list is the calls go through list), accept calls from people on black list (black list is the calls don't go through list)...etc...
The way I look at it is this - most people don't answer their phone if they don't recognize the number, therefore they can't enter it into a blacklist without knowing it. I would say the most important piece is functioning from the call log, so you can take that last 800 number that called you and add it to the list...you know they are going to call back.
I'm already excited for this man.
i might be interested.
Verizon does offer call blocking. It's basically 5.00 a month for up to 5 numbers. You just can't add it with the Storm for some reason (may be all blackberrys). You have to add in specific numbers and can't do anything for private or 800 numbers. I agree would be a useful app. Especially if you can block private numbers, 800 numbers or maybe just restricting it to your contacts only. I'd prefer if there was a way to just disconnect the blocked numbers so they cannot reach your voicemail. (or maybe have it where private numbers can reach your voicemail and 800 numbers that are usually telemarketers cannot)
I have Cerberus, but even when it blocks calls it rings once. If your app. can prevent that one ring, I'd be very interested!!
Ill try to make a trial available.

I would like the option to Block "Private" or "Unknown Numbers" or have it go straight to my voicemail. A Black and White list would be a nice option too. Maybe limit it to 5-10 numbers that the user can block as well. Just a personal thought. I think those who have given input should get a free version or a discount ahaha.
