I searched the OTA app thread and didn't see a app that turns the camera flash
Into a flashlight. I know other bb have it. Using regular search nothing came up

According to a post earlier, its not possible to write a program that will do this. But a decent solution is to turn on the movie light in the video record options and use your video recorder as a light.
Setting the quick keys on the side of the phone to start the movie camera and changing the flash settings to "on" works perfectly. As soon as you hit the key the light comes on and the video camera DOES NOT start recording. It's a perfect flashlight...
