Just wondering if there is an application that monitors how much data you are using. It would be super useful as I am on a budget of 500MB a month. If not, why not?

Here at least is the url for MiniMoni MiniMoni - Traffic monitor for BlackBerry I emailled the developer a couple of months ago and he was in the process of updating the program. Maybe he has finished this and maybe not. There were issues around newer OSs as I recall.

just loaded 4.2 and its not so good on the Bold. text is too small and unreadable in most places. I'm assuming 4.1 will be the same if the software was developed for the curve. Thanks though

You still get accurate reporting though and that seems to be the important point.

If I'm right (think so) minimoni will have a smaller memory footprint and take up less filefree...

I just got a Curve 8310 last week and as known, it came with the 4.2 OS version. MiniMoni was working beautifully until I updated the OS to 4.5 yesterday.

Is this what you are talking about?

I emailed the developer but no response yet.

The data usage count is stuck at 1 kb and it wont move no matter how much data is used. I uninstalled it and installed it again and it still gives me the same error..

I had that problem, when i was on the old OS i think .162 (the one that came with the phone), when I upgraded to .216 and .237 now, it works fine.

    So, try upgrading OS?

Works for me just fine with .237.

It is a little small, but I can still read it.
