Thank you Canada but your OS7 doesn't deserve a thank you!
- I have had my own little minor quirks or complaints about RIM.(Nothing serious) in fact I have been very pleased with all my blackberry devices and the customer service that I have had ....till now! I am NOT pleased in the least that RIM would release a bunch of paid apps for free to the U.S as a thank you for using OS7 and not the rest of the world INCLUDING CANADA! I would go off in a big way but hey I probably wouldn't stop and the language I would use wouldn't do this forum or my post any justice. I will say this.....THIS PI**** ME OFF!!03-06-12 10:57 PMLike 0
- My theory.......
Think about the load on the servers if everyone was able to access them at the same time. Blackberry is doing well in Canada still. And worldwide. The US is where they are lacking. It makes sense that they would release them there first. Keep people somewhat satisfied. I think that we here in Canada will have access to these free apps or a different set of free apps in the near future.03-06-12 11:43 PMLike 0 - I have to say I totally understand SaltySnacks position about the freebees going the US way, I myself was not all that happy to hear that the Yanks were getting more free stuff while the rest of us have to pay for it.
Why oh why would you try to thank the very people who are abandoning you and driving down your share prices? Why oh why would you thank the very people who produce apps for everyone only to have them restrict the apps to only those who live in the US? (BlackBerry Video Store is a perfect example, you have to live in the US in order to order and view a video).
Figure it's to help keep them satisfied? What about the rest of us, don't we deserve to be satisfied too?
Tsk, tsk RIM, you've only made a lot of users everywhere else not so happy.03-07-12 12:51 AMLike 0 - I'm in Canada and it sucks. Sure bb and RIM is doing better here and maybe that's the reason but considering they're a Canadian company and we do support them, I'd think some type of 'Thank you Canada' would be in order.
I'm thinking (hoping) that their will be eventually and they just rolled it out in the US first for some reason. Let's hope so.I'm trying to stay positive.

I am your neighbor to the south and I agree with you. I did not realize we folk down here were getting the freebies, it is never a good idea to upset your base. But please do not abandon RIM, if you guys do then I will have no hope and get stuck having to buy an iPhone or a windows phone. Please for give them. Some of us down here still love our BBs.
