I have seen numerous apps such as DriveSafe.ly which offer text to speech but have failed to find one that will support BBM. Does anyone know of an app that can do it for me, I am running a 9780 so it's os6

It's not possible with the current BBM API. BUT, it might be possible with the new BBM social platform (beta for devs) released it may be possible, I haven't looked it over carefully enough yet. So basically you're out of luck right now.
