Yeah I know what that is coming from. I thought I fixed most of those cases though.
What is the sequence to do this? Also I'm assuming you are running v3.5 or higher?
i.e.
-Pause game
-Then do you have to minimize the app, then come back?
-etc
Yeah its pretty much that sequence. Like say I get a text msg or something. When coming back though that's when the half screen thing happens.
I also get a random pause once in awhile, but its not to bad.
I'm running v3.6

I'll check it when I can later today, but I'm pretty sure it should be working correctly... Haven't heard anything else from other people.
Any thoughts or results? I have tried uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling and rebooting again and still have the same issue with the screen format on my 8320.
Great app papped., the game is perfect, ive only noticed one issue and i went through this entire thread and couldn't find anyone else with the issue, the issue is if im playing and i decide to pause and go back to the game at a later time it drains the battery real quick, i have tested this just to be sure that it is tetris causing the battery drain. im using a 9000 with .237 software, it was doing the same in previous versions of the game and previous os versions.
provided i exit the game by clicking exit the battery remains long lasting, only when tetris is on pause does the battery drain noticeably faster. have you noticed this?

Papped, I think I noticed the same thing just last night on my 8900. I wasn't sure so I didn't worry about it. Plus I was testing something out by using my sleeve and I just passed it off as the sleeve causing the problem. Now that someone else is reporting the same thing I think it is probably an issue.
I'm wondering if this is has to do with it being a midlet. CLDC apps run in the background really well, while midlets don't.
If the drain during a pause is the same as during playing, I think this is the case.
If not, then I'm not sure.. I might have to do some investigation to force as much as possible not to do anything when paused, since pauseApp() doesn't seem to be taking care of it

As for the score screen not fitting I have no idea. Its correct for other people with the same screen resolution and I tried it on the 8330 simulator without issue.

131070, but I keep getting the random ending problem. I didn't actually lose that game, it just suddenly ended and sent me to the screen to input my new high score. Yeah, I was *ticked*.
