I live in Metro Vancouver area. I just downloaded Slacker on my BB Tour. When I went to use it, it says "Slacker radio is not available in your region"
Is this a Canada issue or a Telus issue?

It's Canada. Slacker is one of the US only free Streaming radio stations. I tried too. I use IHeart or Flycast Canada.
even then, if it was in canada, if telus can 't make money off of it, they'll block it :)
exceptions of course, but telus is telus..
So what else is blocked by Telus or what apps won't work?
I really need a turn by turn GPS app that works good.
The problem is with streaming apps. You have to ensure that the apps are actually available in Canada. If you can download the app from AppWorld, you should have no problem running it on your phone.
*hint* go buy tetherberry if you want apps that only work in the US to work in canada....sort of...
Telus sucks cack. I blame them because I'm a ****.
its the apps...i tried to download slacker and pandora and both said not available in canada...even if you got to their website on your pc
Ok, I've used slacker, basically, when you set it up, pretend you live in the states and use a us postal code, then it will work :)
