    Is there any way to configure Desktop Manager to sync between Storm and Google Calendar rather then Outlook?

    Directly: no (although you do have an option for wirelessly syncing it)
    Indirectly: I think you can use a plugin for thunderbird to sync both ends. Although from my experience that can get messy.

    Is wirelessly not an option?

    You can install Google Sync on your Storm - google.com/sync (I think).
