    If an application on your Storm exhibits the following behavior:
    • The application display is squished into a small percentage of the device's screen
    • The software keyboard is stuck open at all times
    • Touch navigation isn't working appropriately/at all


    Then you need to turn off "compatibility mode" for that application. On recent versions of the Storm OS, this can be done by navigating to Options > Advanced > Applications, highlight the appropriate application, menu > Compatibility Mode.



    It is usually also be necessary to reset the device by removing and then re-inserting the battery afterwards for the setting to take effect.
