In my new torch, I went into app world today, and my storefront Category listings ( only) were now displayed in french. I then rebooted -- no change -- then I re updated the software -- still no change?? what to do?

Are you sure you set your phone's language to English when you first setup your phone's settings? That's all I can think of right now.

Did you uninstall the App World program completely and then reinstall? You can do that from the BB mobile webpage or in your Desktop manager. You might also check to make sure BB Desktop Manager didn't goof up if you used that recently.

Make sure the settings on your DM is set to English. Does anything else show up as French? If not I would delete App World and reinstall it OTA. You might have had a weird installation glitch.

Same thing happened to me. I haven't opened App World in a week or so and now the Categories are in French

I too had same problem for several days, reboots didn't work. All settings checked out in English. I went to Setup, under languages make sure English is checked and select update, this will eliminate other languages from the phone - reboot is requested. Magically my categories in app world back to english!!

this just happened to me today! I rebooted it numerous times, deleted other languages, and still en francais. help!

Just found it out today also. Triple checked all my language settings on DM and my phone, Everything is in english and displays in english but the App world categories are French. the Top 25 are in english lol just the categories are french lol. I even re-Downloaded App world from BB website and double checked english and still French.

Same thing happened to me. New Torch (1 week) never looked into the categories before tonight though, and they are listed in french. All other Appworld menu's are in English though...weird.

Im getting the same thing, the only thing appearing in french is the categories.

It has now been corrected, Just installed an update from The Weather Network and when i loaded app world again it was all corrected.
