Why dsent this app work in the uk or europe?

I have cancelled my account and will no longer visit Starbucks. I have also stated this in a letter to Starbucks...
Starbucks has officially discontinued support for the BlackBerry app.
Not sure a little issue with an app would influence whether or not a visit a store, however.
Go for it PondHockey! I'm with ya. Although it was quite fun while it lasted, I have a place or two I prefer any how. :)

To install the app - copy the link into an email then send it to yourself. Click on the link in the email and let it open in the phone browser to the download page. Click on the download button and download it to your phone and you should be good to go. I installed it an hour ago on an unlocked BB9930. It worked just fine.
Diffused - Thanks so much for that link, it worked perfectly on my phone after email it to myself and loading the app.
You're welcome. :)

Thank you for the link. Sent the link to my Sprint 9930. WORKS! Appreciate the help.
Although the app works, will it enable you to open an account in order to have it work with your balance, etc.? or have they shut that service down entirely..
Here is the link we heard about no more spport for the Starbucks app. http://m.crackberry.com/starbucks-ca...y.com+Blogs%29
As you can see this notice came after I posted the link to the app so I don't know if it works yet or not. I still have it and it still works for me. Just keep your gift card handy in case they drop the account.

I'm assuming the app looks terrible on everyone else's 99XX too, right? I realize that its because of the resolution, but none of you mentioned that it looks totally jacked.
EDIT:
NM! Found the COD in a backup I had lying around, I'm good to go.
Seems they finally pulled their web link to it... Can someone here post up their COD file for this application? My 9900 took a dump on me and now I can't locate a download link for it.
Thanks in advance!
I'm sorry, where is the link?
seriously, carry the card with you. and do you honestly care whether your gonna shop there or not. .....i doubt it
The card doesn't let me recharge it while I'm standing in line, and it doesn't tell me how much is left on it without handing it to someone to have them get coffee for us on me. Also leaves the card free so that the wife can carry it with and use it when she pleases, lots of advantages to having the free app. :)
If anyone needs a link to it or anything, let me know and I'll see about posting it out somewhere for people to grab. Seems Starbucks made good on their statement and the app itself has been pulled now from their site for download. :(
Alrighty, I had someone ask me for it, so I figured it would be best served out here where everyone else can get to it as well.

That's the link for version 1.4.0.9 that was downloaded for my 9700. Works great on my 9900 but your mileage may vary depending on what device family you use it on.
Thanks HaTax-I tried downloading it to my Torch II & got an error 907_invalid COD. I'll try again later but I don't think it'll work on my device.
Thanks again, bro!

Sorry buddy! If anyone else has the application installed on their 9800, please post it up somewhere and I'll throw it on the site for the torch users to download OTA.
... it is a free app and not even developed by starbucks.. lmao..
Really appreciate you doing this. The download is coming up as invalid COD file when I try and install. Alson downloaded to disc, put to media card, tried from there. Same result. This is for Bold 9300 which had a working Starbucks program on it before the latest JAVa melt down Could download file be corrupt.
Just to let everyone know my situation. I had to wipe my 9650 and couldn't get the Starbucks app back. I was furious and even went to test out an Android Photon (just so upset that apps on the BB are so lacking). I couldn't download over the air (even though someone posted it) and even the COD file I had on a backup didn't work.
I finally came to my senses and tried to figure out a solution. I was able to do a device switch wizard, pause before unplugging, finding the temporary folder named for my pin and moving it to another place (this is a documented procedure on CB). I then erased all the files except for the ALX file named for my PIN and the mobilecard.cod app and installed it via BB Desktop. This worked!!!!
In fact, when I just switched to a 9930, that was one of the first things I did and it worked. I hope this helps.
I tried cancelling the post saying it worked mid-stream because it was downloading, but after downloading the 3mb file it gave me the COD error, so apologies for stating I got it working from the link in here on my 9930
Which download link did you use? I have a 9930 and I wanted this app badly.
Sorry people! I found a small little problem with my JAD file, it had the same COD listed twice in there and that's what was causing the invalid COD error.
Anyway, the link is updated and it does work fine now, just used it to reload the app on my 9900. So anyone that needs it, grab it!
