I was bored and dusted off my super powerful 9900 and though. I have a extra SIM and thought "THIS would make a GREAT SSH client for quick server reboots"

Looked around for the best SSH client and couldn't downloads. Then with a little searching (and the god-sent archive.org) I found the latest and greatest version:
http://marcparadise.io/bbssh/ota/ (make sure you go to the http not the https on your blackberry because the certificate will not work on your bb)

AND if you're missing the old crackberry ota list (most of which I'm sure are dead links but it's a fun site) here you go:
    https://web.archive.org/web/20090611...m/otaapps.html

I'm STILL disappoined that whatsapp is dead. It's still available through OTA but whatsapp servers have the app say it's "Expired"

WHO wants to help me hack it and remove that expiration. A good old fashion crack job to see if their servers actually still reply JUST FINE (I get) to the client!

Nice! That'll be great for logging into sdf.org too.

    Thanks Damian!

I actually spend most of my time at circumlunar.space (sdf.org is better known, though). You can still get an account @ republic.circumlunar.space if you want one. Probably the most common reasons for getting an account are to set up a gopher site or to use the BBS.

Very nice my friend. Lots of fun. the SDF.org was SUPER easy to get an account with but didn't work with our trusty BBSSH app. BUT that's alright. I'm having a blast (from the past?) with all the bbs's out there.

That's too bad. I'm not sure if it would work with circumlunar.space either, since it requires an RSA key.

I will be trying setting up a ssh key on sdf.org to see if this fixed this issue. I now ssh to my server then to it just for the chats so no problem. But i'll make sure I try this fix of using an SSH key
