    Got a replacement phone, 8830, and used DM 4.3 to switch BB devices. Problem is Splash Id (v4.14) data is thoroughly corrupted on new bb.

    I backed up all my 3rd party apps before switching, using the posted instructions. Everything but Splash ID transferred just fine, data and all.

    Suggestions anyone?...please! I gotta send back the old phone by tomorrow.

    It proberly has to do with the way Splash ID works and encrypts passwords. You should have gotten a desktop version of the program that syncs with your BB, backup to that. Reinstall Splash ID on your new Berry and then transfer/sync to the new one.
