Just received this from smrtguard:

Dear SmrtGuard for BlackBerry Users,

We have released SmrtGuard v2.15 for BlackBerry devices only. Please upgrade now if you have not already done so.

WHAT'S NEW?

1. Improved remote wipe so it dynamically deletes most if not all 3rd party applications (i.e. - Facebook, MySpace, Gmail, and many more) in addition to Password Keeper, the Native Message and Phone applications.
2. Added password protection to the SmrtGuard application. Users now can set a password from the SmrtGuard -> Options Menu to prevent unauthorized access into the application.
3. Bug fix - prevent backing up empty data.

HOW TO UPGRADE?

Point your BlackBerry browser to SmrtGuard - Your Smartphone Guardian™ and click on download

OR

On your BlackBerry Smartphone:

1. Click on SmrtGuard icon
2. Click on About SmrtGuard menu
3. Click on "Check for Update"

You will be taken to the download site from there.

It seems they fix one thing and break another. Remote lock now doesn't work!

Yes - same here: After upgrading to 2.15 today my remote lock does not work either. I wish I'd have just stayed with the last version and not updated.

sg-lock locked my device immediately.

Do you have a password set to lock the device (i.e. Options > Password)?

Emailing sg-lock works.
Clicking "lock" on the web interface does not.

Until they fix it, at least I can still email the lock command.
