Hey guys, dumb question, got the tour, how can i download slacker radio from to the phone, no icons present like my old Storm.

Yeah, same thing just happened to me. Happened with the My Verizon app and Application Center as well. Me no likey. >.>

Slacker's cool and all, but I've already got Pandora. I don't like that it's not even asking me if I want to install these apps.

It just got pushed to me too, which is irritating b/c I already have slacker. So now I have two slacker icons on my home screen. Dumbasses.

ahh, now I know why it was pushed... the new version has a link to Vcast to buy the song. guess VZW partnered with slacker. the new interface is definitely nicer though.

well I went from 2.0.2 to 2.0.27 and the interface is definitely different. I like it through.

Was wondering why this showed up. LOL. Just hide it after trying to figure out how to uninstall the link. Pissed me off to. Really thinking about unloading "MyVerizon".

I like slackers music selection better than pandora. Too many repeats on pandora.

I see a lot of ui changes now. I didn't go very deep into it before.

I just restarted my phone right now and all of a sudden I found this Slacker icon in my menu. I was like wtf? Then I saw this thread and realized I'm not the only one. I already have Pandora. I don't need Slacker.

Me too. It pushed to my phone last night. I was (and still am) pissed about it. If I want an app on my device I'll put it on myself thank you very much. Plus I use Pandora anyway. Much better than Slacker in my opinion.

Just a shortcut link, hide it and keep moving forward. Nothing to lose sleep over. I dont like the shortcuts being pushed to it. But it is the nature of the beast with the carriers and phones.

Its lame. I heard another Tech agent say that it was verizon that was pushing this slacker but others on here blamed RIM not the one carrier.

I got Pandora over the weekend, and was playing it while we were just drinking a few brewskis. I was pretty amazed that my Tour was louder than my friends iPod Touch.

When you guys say that slacker was pushed to your phone, do you mean the whole application was actually downloaded or just an icon was put with a link to download. When Sprint pushes apps to our BB's they don't actually download until you open the icon??
